Sales recording modules (SRM/ MEV)
In order to provide systems that are in accordance with current regulations, CLS INFO and POSitouch have been working closely with Revenu Québec for many years. Since October 31st, 2011, all restaurant businesses in Quebec are required to use an SRM (Sales Recording Module) for all their stations. An SRM is a microcomputer mainly used to receive data concerning commercial operations (tabs, receipts, credit notes) and record transactions such as sales and taxes.
